Chalk it at Makin’ it Local

Makin’ it Local is throwing it back to the glory days of sidewalk masterpieces and dusty hands with their Third Annual “Chalk It” Event on May 23, 2026—and you’re invited to unleash your inner sidewalk, Picasso.

Grab a chunk of chalk (they’ve got you covered… literally, thanks to their patio) and go wild on their covered and open-air space. Sun? Great. Clouds? Moody. Rain? We call that “mixed media.”

Create your masterpiece, then toss your name in the hat for a chance at fame, glory, and some pretty sweet prizes. (Worldwide recognition not guaranteed, but heavy bragging rights absolutely are.)

No experience required. Stick figures welcome. Overachievers encouraged.
