50th Annual Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show

By

Come discover the heart of Sisters, Oregon, this July at the 50th Annual Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show! On July 12, 2025, our charming town transforms into the world’s largest outdoor quilt show, a vibrant spectacle that attracts over 10,000 visitors from across the globe.

Imagine strolling through town as more than 1,300 stunning quilts, crafted by fiber artists from ages 10 to 92, adorn balconies, fences, and porches, creating a giant, technicolor art gallery. Beyond the breathtaking display, you can dive deeper into the world of quilting with classes and workshops taught by master quilt makers during Quilt Week. You’ll also see “show-and-tell” exhibits featuring quilts from first-time quilters. Many of these incredible quilts are available for purchase, with a portion of the proceeds supporting the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the art and heritage of quilting.

But the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show is more than just quilts; it’s a celebration of community. Witness hundreds of dedicated volunteers working before sunrise to hang the quilts, and enjoy local musicians providing entertainment on street corners. Most importantly, it’s a chance to connect with the talented artists who travel from around the world to be a part of this unique event.

What began decades ago with a dozen quilts hung outside a small local shop has grown into an internationally recognized phenomenon, enriching Central Oregon’s cultural legacy. If you’re looking for a joyful, a little surreal, and incredibly heartfelt experience that embodies the spirit of Sisters, mark your calendars for the 50th Annual Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show. It’s truly a bucket-list destination for quilters and art lovers alike!
