Artist Reception: Cheryl Chapman

Leading up to Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show, Makin’ it Local is extending the celebration beyond quilts by showcasing artists whose work reflects the same appreciation for color, pattern, craftsmanship, and storytelling. The receptions are designed for both visitors and local residents, offering everyone the opportunity to experience another side of Oregon’s vibrant arts community while meeting the artists behind the work.
From Tuesday, July 7, through Friday, July 10, 2026, locals and visitors alike are invited to meet the artists, enjoy complimentary wine, refreshments, and light hors d’oeuvres, and experience new collections inspired by the beauty, color, and spirit of Oregon. Each reception will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
2025 Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show poster artist Cheryl Chapman returns with her stunning reverse-enameled painted fused glass. Rich in color, detail, and craftsmanship, her work has become one of Makin’ it Local’s most anticipated Quilt Week traditions and continues to captivate collectors year after year. Cheryl will unveil three new fine art prints created especially for Quilt Show Week.
