Sisters earned a Dark Sky Community certification from DarkSky International earlier this year. Sisters is only the second certified community in the state of Oregon and one of 55 globally. The designation is the culmination of many years of dark sky advocacy by the Sisters community to help bring awareness of the importance of preserving our nighttime skies.
