Winemaker Dinner @ cuvée

Todd Alexander has made wine on two continents, and October 29th, he’s bringing a taste of all of it to Sisters.

Todd is the winemaker and co-founder of Holocene, his Willamette Valley project built around small, dry-farmed vineyards and a hands-off style — native yeasts, little new oak, nothing filtered or fined out of the wine. A few years back, he and his wife Carrie planted roots (literally) in France, picking up two old vineyards in the Roussillon they now farm as Clos Lointain. We’ll be pouring from all projects for the evening!

Cooking the five courses is chef Wil Hansen, the chef and owner of High Desert Catering, as well as a long time resident of Sisters. His approach to cooking has always lived at the intersection of how food tastes, how an event feels, how smoothly the kitchen runs behind the scenes, and ultimately the joy of bringing people together around the table. For this dinner, Wil is especially excited to bring that approach to the table through a menu designed to complement the wines and create a complete experience from the first bite to the last pour.

Expect an intimate night involving five courses, a paired pour with each, and plenty of time to hear Todd talk about the time and care that went into each.
