Predators of Central Oregon
June 26, 2026 @ 9:00 am - 12:30 pm
FreeEver wonder which predators roam the landscape of Central Oregon? Join the Deschutes Land Trust and Gary “Gus” Gustafson to explore the world of predators—bobcat, cougar, fox, coyote, wolf, black bear, and more. Gus will help you learn more about their habitat, feeding preferences and techniques, reproductive behavior, and interactions with people. We’ll even dig into the expanding presence of gray wolves in the region. While it’s extremely unlikely that any predators will be seen during the hike, Gus will help you to become more aware of the clues wildlife leave behind during their daily activities. Registration is required and opens 1 month prior to the event.
