Tom Myers is an elementary school teacher and birder who lives in Oregon. He began birding in 2017 after he bought a kayak and started noticing birds while he paddled. Since then, he finds and photographs birds whenever possible. When he’s not teaching or birding, Tom stays busy reading, beekeeping and baking.

Ashley Erdely is a longtime educator, devoted parent, and nature enthusiast. She grew up in Northern Michigan on a 130-acre llama ranch and her early experiences in nature significantly influenced her career decision to be an educator, encompassing her environmental passion and commitment to making nature a part of children’s daily lives.
