DESCRIPTION:Join the Deschutes Land Trust and Jason Grant for a restoration tour at Rimrock Ranch. The Land Trust completed a major\, mulit-year stream resoration project at Rimrock Ranch in 2023. Visit the recently restored Whychus Creek and see how the restoration has changed over the last few years. Learn about efforts to improve habitat in and around the creek for fish and wildlife. Registration is required and opens 1 month prior to the event. \nHike Rating: This is a moderate 1-2 mile hike on old roads and through grassy meadows. \nRoute: This hike will start in the meadow at Rimrock Ranch and follow dirt access roads. We will also venture off-trail into the meadow. Terrain will be uneven at times. \nElevation gain/loss: There is very little elevation gain/loss on this hike.
